Out to Kwale County…

Pardon the silence, I have been Living…

How are you good people?…I am rejuvenated and feeling the change that comes with positive vibes.

The other day I was asked to judge the Miss Tourism Kwale county and quickly jumped to the opportunity, not only because it was an extra coin coming into my account but an opportunity out of Nairobi even for a day made so much sense…add to that my good friend Shamilla would be joining me, to be honest we needed the break because we have both had some serious uphill months…

The funniest part is we were prepared to go to a village, little did we know Diani is part of Kwale county and shock on our system when we found out the event is in the heart of Diani and we were staying at the amazing Leopard beach hotel…My Geography teacher would be highly dissapointed if he read this…well well well, now we know better:

Before leaving we made a rule, we were going to eat, laugh and laugh a little more…

and then we were on our way to the airport to go back home…we had a quick short trip that was so much fun(apart from my sneezing allergy that scared everyone – except Shamilla who watched me and acted like she couldnt see a thing) we ate, laughed and did nothing that was brain tasking.

One thing I learned is that Joy is a personal choice and you cannot really depend on anyone to make you happy..we are all responsible for what happens to our lives…after a long long time, I accepted one fact there are battles no matter how hard you fight if you are not destined to win then you will never win…

Until next time…have a lovely day
